Karsten Winther

Karsten has over 15 years of experience in direct and channel sales, including strong focus on vertical markets. He has led various transformations of large scale sales organisations which included activities such as redefinition of direct & indirect customers and associated commercial policies; pricing policies; competitive mapping & development tools, processes and methodologies.

Before joining Vertiv in May 2018, Karsten held global, regional and country sales roles in NEC and Epsom, and most recently served as VP sales and marketing for Cobham, covering all global strategic, tactical and operational activities across the key verticals – aeronautical, maritime, land mobile and infrastructure. At Cobham, he was also responsible for the complete customer life-cycle and product management portfolio as well as sales operations activities.

Karsten is a graduate of Copenhagen Business School where he studied Business & Management and he also holds an Executive MBA in Finance from the ESADE Business & Law School in Barcelona. He is a Danish native and lives in Copenhagen with his family.
